Foreign Policy
Our country currently pursues a Interventionist foreign policy. I believe that this only causes problems for both the economy and our foreign relations these bellow are examples. Since 1947 the United States has behaved as a sort of Rich Bully we have the countries we pay money to and are not generally mean to (we have given 60 billion dollars to both France and Britain distinctively)  We have the countries that we knock around but then come back with money (we have given Pakistan and Afghanistan 60 billion each as well)
then we have these countries 
North Korea: Has nuclear weapons, has not fallen apart yet due to our intervention. We have a strangling Trade Embargo which stops the flow of ideas tightening the Communist Parties grip.

Cuba: A communist country to our south we have a trade embargo with giving Castro someone to go its their fault. Trade embargos go hand in hand with the restriction of the flow of ideas which as we have seen in the middle east is one of the biggest threats to a dictator. The other is an armed populace which is why I support the 2nd amendment.

Iran: A “republic” that was established in 1979 after there revolution that over through a dictator installed in 1953. I would like to take a moment to go over this dictator, it explains one of the two main reasons Iran hates us.
              Before the installation of this dictator in 1953 had a democratically elected parliament, one with nationalist leanings but elected nevertheless. The Anglo-Persian oil company (Future British Petroleum) arranged a deal with the Iranians in which the oil company would have access to some of its oil. In exchange the oil company was to give a 25 percent of the shares with 12.5% guaranteed minimum interest on the stocks. During the Great Depression concerns grew in Iran of the company selling them short. In response a new deal was arranged in 1933 this deal created an additional tax as well as decreasing the land supplied to the APOC.
             During world war 2 Iran sided with the nazi’s and kicked out the APOC for the duration of the war. The British then enter in and replaced the previous head of state the Shah with his son. A new deal was reached with similar conditions to that of 1933. In the late 1940s the iranian parliament suspected the APOC ( now the anglo iranian oil company) of hiding the actual profits from Iran. This lead to threats of nationalism from Iran.
                     The British requested that Truman help them stage a coup de ta in iran but he refused. Eisenhower however was not so reluctant he ordered the CIA to help stage the coup. In 1953 they elicited the help from the shah in exchange for him helping and following direction from the west. He would receive full power in Iran. So the CIA enacted their plan they distributed propaganda that the currently elected leader of their legislative body was a communist in disguise and then hired mobs to go beat up and assassinate politicians. After about a month of this the Shah declared this was the leader of the elected bodies doing and ordered and the disbandment of the parliament which was down to 10 %  it s original size and the arrest of the leader. The leader was tipped off before this and him and his guards killed those attempting the arrest and the shah fled the country. another month past and the CIA were at this time at work  bribing mobs to destroy the place in the name of communism. The shah then returned and the dictatorship was in place  that lasted until the Iranian revolution of 1979.
             Some people think Iran only hates us because they are the bad guy. 
Look at what we have done to them. From their point of view WE are the bad guys these people in the middle east are not flocking to there religion due to love of it but of fear of us. We have gotten too used to just going in and being the police men othe world we just make things worse we push our morals on these other countries when it took the western world 300 years to reach the amount of civil liberty experienced today. That’s not something that can be change over night. Our over involvement In the middle east will back fire Egypt Will be anti-us especially if we try to is force on the region when the country doesn’t do what we want. 
Frankly I am not surprised the middle east right now is Israel with a tank ( nuclear weapons) an ally with a battleship ( us) and Iran with a musket of course they want to try to level the playing field.
The other reason the middle east doesn’t like us is because we took land from, in their view at least, hard working Palestinians. Then we gave it to there religious enemies. What would we have done in the 1700s if the British told us they were gonna give Pennsylvania to the native americans. We would have said a flat out No. Now let’s continue down this road the native Americans then receive a half a dozen first rate ships of the line and 6 divisions of cannon. Then the British pull out like after world war 2 in the middle east. The result is WAR 
now let’s say the Germans then decide to send weapons to the pennsylvania native Americans. 
We would HATE the Germans
This hate from the Iranians is starting to die down in the new generations but is still prevalent in the older generations which run the country.
The easiest way to avoid situation is the same way as the easiest way not to overdose on cocaine, not to do it in the first place. This is just the beginning of it. I haven’t even covered trade embargoes. I promise to do so in the future. 
One last thought to those saying “this is isolationism”
Calling non-interventionism, isolationism is like calling your neighbor a hermit because he doesn’t come to your house and break your windows every once in awhile.
